She works as a consultant as an academic leader specializing in materials behaviour, durability, and structural performance. With over 10 years of industry experience in geotechnical and materials engineering roles, she brings a strong understanding of the practical challenges faced by engineering consultancies.

Dr. Gharehdash’s professional focus lies in bridging research and practice through applied materials science, structural health monitoring, materials performance and sustainability-driven design. She is passionate about developing collaborative projects that connect academia with industry, advancing innovative solutions for complex engineering problems, and supporting ambitious projects. Her areas of specialization include cemented granular materials, waste-based concrete formulations and minerals processing.
