Maelie Coral is a materials researcher and designer. Holding a PhD in materials science, she explores how materials shape our relationships to ecology, space, and emotion.

Through matière, she bridges scientific research and design practice—developing projects that merge experimentation, storytelling, and sustainable material innovation.

Her multidisciplinary background spans material fabrication (clean-room processes, 3D printing, ceramics...), material characterization (thermal and mechanical properties, atomic structure, imaging...), and material narration (photography, 3D modeling, Adobe Creative Suite...). Her work translates material research into tangible forms, images, and narratives
